Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are applicable to those enrolling for classes with Zero Gravity Cheerleading. Please ensure you have reviewed these carefully:

 
1. Accuracy of Information: I confirm that all information provided in my enrolment form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. If any details change, I understand that I am responsible for updating my information via my customer login. I acknowledge that providing false or misleading information may result in the termination of my membership at the discretion of Zero Gravity Cheerleading.


2. Acceptance of Risk: I acknowledge that while Zero Gravity Cheerleading has systems and safety progressions in place to minimise the risk of injury, there is always an inherent risk associated with cheerleading and tumbling activities. If an injury occurs during a class, I agree to notify a coach immediately and seek appropriate professional healthcare.


3. Indemnity: I agree not to hold Zero Gravity Cheerleading liable for any claims, losses, expenses, or legal costs incurred as a result of failure to follow the gym’s rules, policies, or directions provided by coaches or staff.


4. Medical Declaration: I declare that the participating athlete is medically and physically fit to take part in Zero Gravity Cheerleading activities and does not suffer from any condition that would impact their ability to participate safely. If I am unsure, or if such a condition exists, I will ensure it is noted on the enrolment form and/or brought to the attention of a head coach.


5. Privacy: I understand that Zero Gravity Cheerleading will keep all personal information confidential and will not use or disclose it without permission, unless required by law.


6. Photography and videos (imagery): I give permission for the named athlete to be photographed or filmed during classes, events, and performances. These images may be used for promotional purposes by Zero Gravity Cheerleading, including use on social media, websites, flyers, and print material. All imagery will be used tastefully and respectfully.


7. Misconduct: Zero Gravity Cheerleading reserves the right to remove any athlete or family member from its programmes for behaviour that does not align with our gym values. This includes, but is not limited to, inappropriate conduct, unsportsmanlike behaviour, or illegal activity.

 

8. Class Bookings and Payment Policies:

a) Payment must be made in full via our website to secure a class booking. Spaces will not be held without payment.

b) Class enrolments are a commitment for the full term. No refunds will be issued for change of mind or change in circumstances. A credit may be offered for injury-related absences if supported by a medical certificate and requested within the first 5 weeks of the term.

c) Missed sessions due to illness or personal reasons are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or credited.


9. Public Holidays: Unless otherwise advised, classes will not run on public holidays.


10. Reporting External Injuries: If an athlete sustains an injury outside of class that may impact their ability to participate in their Semi-Competitive or Elite team, it is the responsibility of their parent/guardian to notify their coach as soon as possible. Early communication allows time for necessary adjustments to be made to lesson plans and routines to ensure the safety of all athletes and support the overall progress of the team.

Every reference to "I" and "my" in this document includes the athlete and the parent/guardian/caregiver of the athlete (if applicable).

 

Recreational Programme – Free Trial

  1. Trial spaces must be booked via the “Book a Free Trial” tab under the “BOOK HERE!” menu on our website. Once registered, a staff member will contact you within the week to offer a place in a class with availability.

  2. Trials are subject to availability. If a class is full or has a waitlist, a trial cannot be offered.

  3. Booking a trial does not guarantee a place in the class beyond that single session.

  4. We recommend enrolling for the full term to secure your child’s spot and ensure they gain the full experience of our cheerleading programme.

  5. If a class becomes full before a scheduled trial, we will contact you to cancel or reschedule your booking.

 

Zero Gravity Cheerleading Birthday Parties

1. Booking and Payment:

  • Full payment and a $50 refundable cleaning bond are required to confirm your booking.
  • Bookings within 2 weeks are non-transferable to other available dates.

2. Cancelation and Refunds:

  • Cancellations more than 2 weeks before your party will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 2 weeks of your booking are non-refundable.

3. Arrival & Departure:

  • You may arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your party start time for setup.
  • All guests must vacate the premises within 15 minutes of your scheduled finish time.
  • Extra time in the facility will be charged at $25 per 15 minutes.

4. Supervision & Safety:

  • A minimum of one responsible adult must be present in the gym at all times to supervise children.
  • Party hosts are responsible for all children attending the party and ensuring appropriate behaviour and safety.
  • A staff member will be present during your party to help manage the schedule and ensure the space is used appropriately.
  • Children must wear sports-appropriate clothing, have hair tied up, and no jewellery. Grip socks are encouraged.
  • Should an injury occur, it is essential that staff are notified immediately.

5. Facility Use:

  • All party guests must remove shoes before entering the gym floor.
  • No food or drink is allowed in the gym area — food must stay in the designated party/waiting room.
  • No face paint, confetti, or glitter bombs are permitted.
  • You are welcome to bring your own decorations and food. Please take all rubbish and belongings with you when you leave.

6. Damage & Cleaning:

  • The space must be left clean and tidy, including:
    • Vacuuming carpet area in waiting room.
    • Wiping down kitchen benches, tables and chairs.
    • Returning furniture to its original place.
    • Removing any food residue from the carpet.
    • Taking all rubbish with you — rubbish must be removed from the facility and disposed of off-site.
  • Any damage to equipment or the facility will be charged to the booking party.
  • Decorations must not be attached to the walls or ceiling. Please use the designated banner hanger provided for any signage or decorations.
  • The $50 bond will be refunded within 5 business days if the space is left clean and undamaged.

7. Additional Guests:

  • Bookings include up to 15 children.
  • Parties with 16–25 children must purchase the “Extra Numbers” add-on in advance (+$50).
  • Parties may not exceed 25 children.
  • If you have booked the larger party package to accommodate extra numbers, but fewer participants attend on the day, the difference in cost will not be refunded.
  • The number of children at the party refers to all children participating in play on our equipment, from crawling age upwards.

8. Zero Tolerance Policy:

  • We have a strict no-alcohol and no-smoking policy on site.
  • Any unsafe, disrespectful, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the party, with no refund issued.
